About Herbalisasyon

Herbalisasyon is a living knowledge platform for Philippine herbal medicine. Built on data from the Philippine Herbal Database, it documents more than 1,650 medicinal plants used by Filipino healers across the archipelago.

Our mission is to preserve traditional knowledge while advancing it through modern science and community. Verified doctors contribute peer-reviewed studies, students and researchers learn and cite, and the general public discovers the healing plants around them.

We honor the healers, herb gatherers, and communities whose knowledge makes this possible, and we align our safety guidance with the DOH and the WHO Traditional Medicine Strategy 2025–2034.
